No fundraising for war crimes and ethnic cleansing – protest on Friday April 26th, 2013, 7pm: Golf Hotel, The Scores, St Andrews, Fife, Scotland

A fundraiser is to be held in St Andrews day after tomorrow, Friday April 26th, 2013, for the ‘Friends of the IDF’ and the JNF – Jewish National Fund.

The UN Goldstone Commission found the IDF – Israel Defense Force, aka the Israeli Army – that illegally occupies the West Bank and besieges the people of Gaza, guilty of war crimes and possible crimes against humanity.
Pulitzer prize-winning American journalist Chris Hedges described in Gaza Diary in Harpers Magazine how Israeli soldiers ‘entice children like mice into a trap and murder them for sport’.
Amnesty International has condemned the Israeli Army’s use of lethal force and killing of large numbers of civilians.

Since 1901 KKL-JNF, known as Jewish National Fund (JNF) in the UK, has worked successfully for the ethnic cleansing of historic Palestine and their project has not been completed. The JNF is an openly racist organisation that operates a system of land management that bars Muslim and Christian citizens of Israel from leasing, buying or sometimes sleeping overnight on JNF-owned lands.

68 MPs recently signed a motion calling for the JNF’s charity status to be rescinded.

Join the protest on Friday April 26th, 2013, 7pm:
Golf Hotel, 40 The Scores, St Andrews, Fife, Scotland
, KY16 9AS

Called by Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign / We are all Hana Shalabi / Dundee University Action Palestine / Edinburgh Students for Justice in Palestine / Glasgow University Palestine Society / Students for Palestinian Rights (Caledonian University)

If you can’t be there in person, please e-mail the hotel info@standrews-golf.co.uk or phone them at 01334 472 611 to protest against their hosting a blatantly racist organisation that has complete disregard for any human rights.

Should this be too radical for you, please consider supporting the Stop the JNF campaign by sending your own complaint to the Charity Commission.
Write a letter to William Shawcross, Chair of the Charity Commission (click on this link and amend the letter as you see fit).

Thank you. May Justice and Peace prevail!
