US Campaign to End the Occupation – a call for help from Jewish Voice for Peace

If Israel wants to receive US aid, it must comply with the law

Please sign an open letter to President Obama asking him to hold Israel accountable to US and international law–sign it now, please:

Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) ask us all to join them in sending a strong message to President Obama and thousands of Washington DC decision-makers and donors–now.

JVP are working with the US Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation to take out out a full page ad for the Presidential Inauguration edition of a key DC paper asking the President to hold Israel accountable to US and international law.

At 10AM on Tuesday, 15 January 2013, the letter had 55,468 signatures. Please add yours so the letter carries 60,000 by the printing deadline on Wednesday afternoon (US time).

Please sign the open Letter to President Obama asking him to make sure US aid to Israel is conditioned on compliance with US and international law:

A coalition of Jews, Christians, Muslims and human rights and solidarity activists are all asking President Obama for one thing—to make sure aid to Israel doesn’t violate US laws which specifically prohibit assistance to any country which engages in a consistent pattern of human rights violations.

The Washington DC Metro chapter of Jewish Voice for Peace is organizing a special “No Blank Check” rally on the day of President Obama’s Inauguration on Monday, 21 January 2013, to deliver your message.

By delivering thousands of your signatures to President Obama by his inauguration we can send the message that no aid should ever be unconditional.
