Urgent action request by CJPME on behalf of Palestine House

The information given below has recently come to our attention. It has been circulated by CJPME – Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East:

“[In Canada,] Since 1994, Palestine House – a Mississauga-based community organization serving Palestinian-Canadian immigrants – has received government grants under the “Language Instruction to Newcomers to Canada” program. Yet late last month, in a letter signed by Minister Jason Kenney, the Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration (CIC) decided to remove all funding to Palestine House. (See more information below.) This decision was partisan, unjustified and unethical, and must be challenged.”

Thank you.
